Following the success of Living Valencia, published in 2004, Media Minds was commissioned by the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia to produce a new book on the city. The University wanted something young, dynamic and vibrant that reflected their values.

The book was written by María José Muñoz Peirats, a well known author of several titles on Valencia and its history.

Media Minds chose to use the University's colour scheme as a guide to arrange the material.
